About Dr Nicole Walker
Nicole is a registered psychologist who has completed a Masters of Psychology and a PhD in Ageing Psychology at the University of Queensland. She has experience working across the lifespan. Nicole has worked with a diverse range of issues including:

Nicole also works as a researcher exploring issues related to older adults and families/partners affected by brain disorders and cognitive ageing.
Nicole predominantly uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, but weds this with many other evidence-based approaches.
Nicole takes a practical approach providing patients with tools and strategies to apply to every day life. Therefore patients have greater knowledge about themselves and others that can be applied outside of therapy. Nicole provides her patients with a safe space to be heard and understood.
